The idea of building an English language web site first came to me when I was teaching English as a foreign language in China. What I really wanted to do was build a site that helped students to learn English as a second language but did not concentrate or focus on the technical side of learning English. So as you can see I have built the site and I will leave it to you, the students, to decide if it is of any help to you.
I would also like to mention that this site is using people who are not connected to teaching English as a foreign language for audio and written material. The idea being that what they produce should give students a unique chance to read and listen to English in a very natural way. And maybe it might even give students an insight into what it is like living in the UK.
In conclusion I would like to say that www.lzfenglish.co.uk intends to present English in a very informal way and once again I will leave it to you, the students, to decide whether this style is of any help to you.
