An English Country Lane
Above is a picture of a typical English Country Lane. As you can see it is quite narrow and not designed for heavy traffic. At this time of the year (early summer) the trees and hedgerows are very green and home to all kinds of plants and wildlife. Not so long ago hedgerows were being destroyed but today there are laws protecting them.
