My First Computer

(A True Story)

I remember very well the day I bought my first PC. I was so pleased to be sat in front of a piece of modern technology thinking yes at long last I have got my hands on a personal computer. To be honest it was some time ago. In fact it was so long ago the PC had windows 98 as the operating system. Anyway try to imagine if you can this over excited individual sat in front of a monitor imagining all the wonderful things he was going to do with his PC. So I had pressed the on button, listened to the start-up music and finally I was staring at a blue-screen thinking what do I do next? It was then that I somewhat painfully realised that maybe I had wasted my money because put simply I did not have a clue what to do next.   Well that was a long time ago and today everything is different, now I play with Flashcards, WI-FI, Bluetooth, MP3’s, MP4’s and External-Drives. So it seems that the old saying of “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” is thankfully wrong.
